(Sacramento) – Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez (D-Los Angeles) addressed a capacity crowd at the Sacramento Convention Center recently as the State Assembly honored armed forced veterans from each of the 80 Assembly Districts. Speaker Pérez said, although America’s veterans are honored each year with annual ceremonies, it’s important to remember the veterans who have put their lives on the line for our country every day. The Speaker went on to say, insuring that veterans and their families receive the care and support they need when they return home must be a top priority for California lawmakers.
