March 8: Public Forum on I-10 Traffic Issues
Assemblymembers Pérez, Nestande, and Jeffries are holding a public forum on Thursday, March 8 to discuss the recent I-10 traffic delay that left drivers stranded for hours due to mismanaged road work by Caltrans. Caltrans Director Ray Wolfe and CHP representatives will be there to address the community about what measures are being taken to prevent this type of incident form re-occurring. The meeting will be held from 5- 6:30 p.m. at the Rancho Mirage Library.
April 28: Home Foreclosure Prevention Workshop
Asm. Pérez is teaming up with the federally-approved foreclosure prevention group NID for a day-long workshop in Indio. Homeowners will have the opportunity to meet with mortgage counselors and lenders to discuss their options for loan modification, payment assistance, and refinancing. More detailed information on this event is forthcoming, but save the date!
