Assemblymember Block Wants Community Colleges to Offer Bachelor's Degrees

(Sacramento) - State legislators recently held a hearing in Sacramento on California’s Master Plan for Higher Education. They were looking for new ideas on how to help more students get through college faster. One new idea that was discussed came from Assemblymember Marty Block (78th District, San Diego): allow community colleges to offer bachelor’s degrees.
