The overall goal of the committee is to analyze the economic conditions in San Diego and look closely at the barriers that slow economic growth and job creation for industries across the region. This hearing will examine the potential for convention center expansion as well as provisions of the recently-signed AB 900, which will help streamline the construction of new projects.
