Sacramento, CA- The California Department of Housing and Community Development awarded an $8,002,290 loan to the BRIDGE Housing Corporation for the construction of affordable apartment units in Chino. The "Ivy at College Park" will provide housing for 135 families.
"This project plays a critical role in addressing the housing needs of our community by providing affordable housing and needed construction jobs to our community," said Assemblymember Norma Torres, chair of the Assembly Committee on Housing and Community Development.
The Ivy at College Park will be located at the SE Corner Edison Avenue and Oaks Avenue in the City of Chino. The complex will consist of 25 one bedroom, 55 two-bedroom, and 55 three bedroom apartments.
"Our goal is to provide and expand affordable housing opportunities for all Californians," Torres added.
