WHAT: Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Health & Human Services Hearing on Potential Budget Impacts of Congressional Super Committee Deficit Reduction Program Cuts

WHY: State programs receive substantial federal funding and are at risk for cuts

HOW: Super Committee mandated to recommend cuts to reduce deficit or massive cuts in Medicare, Medicaid, Military spending are "triggered" by Thanksgiving
