SACRAMENTO - Assemblymember Henry T. Perea (D-Fresno) will honor the husband and wife team who run one of Fresno’s most popular food trucks in Sacramento on Monday as part of California Small Business Day.

Chefs Dustin & Kristin Stewart of Dusty Buns Bistro Bus were selected for the honor by Assemblymember Perea for their entrepreneurial spirit and drive to create incredible, locally-grown, organic food.

“Dustin and Kristin have built a huge following in the Central Valley in a short amount of time and I’m confident they will be successful in anything they take on,” Assemblymember Perea said.

With more than 2,000 Twitter followers, Dusty Buns recently expanded their operation to include a sit-down restaurant in Fresno where they serve dinner several nights a week.

Dusty Buns is one of 73 small businesses from cities throughout California to be recognized at today’s ceremony hosted by the California Small Business Association.
