SACRAMENTO- Assemblymember Henry T. Perea (D-Fresno) is pleased to announce three Central Valley cities have received funds from the Department of housing and Community Development’s CalHome Program.
The CalHome Program is funded by Prop 1C and assists local agencies in providing affordable housing opportunities.
“These funds will help rebuild our Central Valley neighborhoods ravaged by foreclosure and neglect,” Assemblymember Perea said.
City of Fresno-$1,500,000
These funds will be used to provide mortgage assistance loans to a proposed 22 first time low-income potential home buyers and to provide rehabilitation assistance to 16 low-income homeowners.
City of Parlier-$1,000,000
These funds will be used to provide mortgage assistance loans to a proposed 10 first time low-income potential home buyers and provide rehabilitation assistance to 10 low-income homeowners.
City of Sanger-$692,300
These funds will be used to provide mortgage assistance loans to a proposed 45 first time low-income potential home buyers.
