(Sacramento) – Following the Governor’s annual State of the State address, Assemblymember Luis Alejo (D-Salinas) said he is ready to make the hard choices and tough cuts needed to balance the state’s books but supports the need to include new revenues in the equation. Assemblymember Alejo said the legislature will review the specific details of the Governor’s budget plan and hopes that Republicans will join with Democrats for the good of the state and support the Governor’s balanced approach to closing the state’s budget deficit.
