California needs new jobs ASAP—says Buchanan
(LIVERMORE)—Assemblymember Joan Buchanan (D-Alamo) continues her effort to bring jobs to the 15th Assembly District by hosting an Employment Fair in Livermore on Tuesday, March 23rd from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Robert Livermore Community Center.
“Putting Californians back to work is my top priority in the Assembly,” Buchanan said. “This fair provides an opportunity to start the process of finding employment for many job-seekers.”
Over 30 different businesses throughout the Bay Area will be available at the fair to discuss job openings. There will be job training resources, including resume feedback, technical training programs, and veteran’s employment assistance.
“The sooner people can get back to work, the quicker our economy can recover,” continued Buchanan. “Events like this connect businesses and local residents seeking employment, which helps both our local and state economies.”
The fair is open to the public.
