Located in Northern California, the 15th Assembly District is most characteristically known for being partially a ‘Bay Area District’ and a ‘Valley District.’ Divided by the Delta, portions of Contra Costa and Alameda counties compose the western side of the district, while portions of Sacramento and San Joaquin counties make up the northern and eastern side of the district. Major cities within the district include Brentwood, Danville, Elk Grove, Livermore, Oakley, Pleasanton, Sacramento, San Ramon, Stockton and Walnut Creek.
