Veteran's Legislation and Committee

As a member of the Assembly Committee on Veterans Affairs, you should know that I am taking steps to ensure more veterans who are eligible participate in available federal programs.

In addition, this year, I authored AB 716 to provide better government service for veterans. This bill more efficiently coordinates state agencies to ensure veterans are receiving information on benefits they may be eligible to receive. Raising the participation rate will bring millions of dollars to California's veterans.
