(Sacramento) – Citizens of Amador County are outraged at a plan by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to close the Preston Youth Correctional Facility. Amador County and the surrounding communities could lose up to 1000 jobs if the facility closes. California State Assemblymember Alyson Huber thinks the decision is too rushed and that the CDCR has no clear vision regarding the closure.
