LADY KILLERS: Heart Disease and Stroke Awareness
September 16, 2010
Doors Open at 4:30 p.m. — Program Begins at 5:30 p.m.
Rancho Cordova City Hall
2729 Prospect Park Drive, Rancho Cordova
Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer of women?
The conference will provide information on preventing and treating heart disease and stroke. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Amparo Villablanca, director of the Women's Cardiovascular Medicine Program at U.C. Davis. The second speaker, Pam Clements, will talk about suffering and surviving a stroke when she was just 43 years old. We’ll also provide heart-healthy tips and lead you through two short and easy yoga sessions. Dozens of health and community organizations will be on hand to provide information, as will local medical insurance providers.
I am also available to discuss state legislative women's health issues.
THERE IS NO CHARGE TO ATTEND and DINNER IS PROVIDED!
