SACRAMENTO – The office of Assemblymember Wesley Chesbro (D – North Coast) and the city of Fort Bragg are teaming up to sponsor a public workshop on California State Parks’ plan to rehabilitate the southern section of MacKerricher Haul Road between Ward Avenue and the Pudding Creek Trestle. The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Fort Bragg Town Hall, 363 North Main St.
The public is invited to hear representatives from State Parks talk about plans to rebuild the 3.5 mile section of the road/trail between Ward Avenue south to the Pudding Creek Trestle.
A representative from the city of Fort Bragg is scheduled to present an overview of the city’s plans for recreational trails that will connect to the Haul Road.
Those who attend will have an opportunity to present their ideas and ask questions.
